Description

We are looking for an experienced technical project manager to manage staff time, resources and keep us
on track to meet our deadlines and deliverables to clients. You’re a natural communicator and like to take
ownership over projects and timelines. You will work closely with different departments to ensure that all
project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track. When new projects or initiatives enter the
mix, you effectively communicate with all stakeholders about new timelines and resources.
Responsibilities include maintaining our project management system, submitting project deliverables,
preparing and delivering status reports, and establishing effective project communication plans as well as
the proper execution of said plans.


To be a successful candidate, you will need to have proven experience in project management, knowledge
of software development processes and the ability to lead project teams of various sizes. Additional
understanding of creative design and digital advertising and how all the teams intersect is preferred. A
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a huge advantage.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Manage and oversee projects requiring Dev Team time and resources to meet deadlines and KPIs

  • Prepare, schedule, and conduct project kick-off meetings

  • Prepare and deliver weekly project status reports

  • Conduct regular checkpoint meetings to review project status

  • Communicate and negotiate adjustments to project delivery timelines

  • Prepare and deliver change orders

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate project milestones in order to drive on-time delivery and
    alert team members of project delays

  • Regularly meet with internal team members to identify and resolve issues

  • Keep projects on track through management of workflow using Clickup, clear task lists and due
    dates, status reports, and meeting notes

  • Submit project deliverables and ensure that they adhere to quality standards

  • Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information

  • Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution

  • Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and
    budget

  • Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

  • Lead daily morning meeting informing progress, assess risks with the team and be the eyes and
    ears of team progress

  • Help review and redefine project scopes in partnership with the Marketing team

  • Ensure cross-functional team alignment, maintaining consistent communication with all team
    members, from core project team to stakeholders and leadership - clearly flagging the
    discrepancies and offering resolutions

  • Proactively plan strategies to mitigate project risks that involve resource management and
    identifying and clearing bottlenecks

     

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in a related field

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

  • 2+ years proven experience in software development project management

  • Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion

  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies

  • Understanding of creative design, digital advertising and software development processes
    preferred

  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner

  • Budget management experience

  • Desire to work in an in-person, open architecture environment

  • Willingness to be flexible and pivot quickly when priorities shift
